Backapp will accept products in return for a period of up to 30 days under the Buy & Try program offered to customers.
Product returns will be accepted only from the lower 48 states in the US. No returns are accepted from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Island, or any other US territory outside the lower 48 states.
Upon receiving product, customer must adhere to the following process:
When opening the box, look for the seat connection separation tool that is included in the plastic sheet protector with the assembly instructions. Insert this tool into the hole in the black mechanism under the seat as shown in the assembly instructions. The ¼” opening in the round seat connection separation tool (bushing) will slide over the release lever. Push until it is firmly seated over the release lever (see picture in assembly instructions for reference).
The purpose of this tool is to enable you to easily separate the seat from the mechanism should you want to return the chair. You may experience a certain looseness in the connection between the seat and the mechanism while this tool is in place. This is normal. Once you decide to keep the chair, we recommend that you remove this tool. Once removed, when you position the seat back onto the pneumatic cylinder, there will be a firm connection as soon as you sit on the chair as this taper fit connection is very firm.
You must keep the original packaging material (box, plastic bag, etc.) to be able to send the chair back during the trial period. To return the product, follow the instruction provided. When opening the box, it may be helpful to take a photo of how it is packed to help you re-pack it if you decide to return it because the parts fit into the box in a specific way.
To return the product, fill out this form and tell us that you wish to ship the product back to us. We will e-mail a return shipping label to you. Print it out. Take the box to your nearest UPS office or agency and UPS will give you a receipt for the return shipping. Please keep this receipt until you have received your refund.
Upon receiving the product back to our distribution center, we will examine the product for any damage. To get a full refund, the product must be in an “as new” condition. Damaged product will receive a partial refund.
Upon approved return, Backapp will issue a refund to your credit card within 14 days
